Tenille Townes

Tenille Townes was raised in Grand Prairie, Alberta, Canada and gained her musical footing there in her early teens.  Instead of going to college, Townes organized a 32-week tour across Canada and quickly began acquiring followers.  In 2013, she moved to Nashville and, four years later, was signed to Sony Publishing - Columbia Nashville.  It was after this big step where she started seeing major success, landing her two #1 singles in Canada (“Jersey on the Wall” and “Somebody’s Daughter”), making her the first female in Mediabase Canada to achieve this.  In addition to this, she was awarded New Female Artist of the Year during the Academy of Country Music awards 2020, Country Album of the Year from the Juno Awards 2021.  Townes is also an 8x Canadian Country Music Award winner.  She continues to release music and strives to emotionally connect with her audience.
